Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to own and optimize production machinery and plant systems. You will perform emergency repairs, routine PMs, and basic machinist tasks, applying hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.

Expect hands-on work in a manufacturing environment with PLC/VFD/HVAC familiarity, vacuum furnace experience a plus, and comfort with FMX/MaintainX work orders. This role emphasizes safety and efficient uptime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience.
2+ years in a manufacturing environment with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and broader industrial skills.
AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Vacuum furnace experience is a plus.
Hands-on with PLCs, VFDs, and HVAC.
1–2 years of CNC repair (preferred).
Familiarity with MaintainX or FMX work order systems.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and optimize production machinery and plant systems.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and complete scheduled services during machine downtime.
Run routine PMs on machines, equipment, and facility assets.
Operate hand/power tools and electrical meters safely.
Flag faulty operations or defective materials and notify supervision promptly.
Champion safety and housekeeping to keep areas clean and orderly.
Tackle hydraulic system troubleshooting on production machines.
