Davis Wire Corporation in Irwindale, California, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role requires hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery in an industrial setting, with a focus on motors, gearboxes, and welding.

This union position offers competitive hourly pay and a full range of benefits. Ideal candidates have at least two years in maintenance mechanics, experience with machine tools, and a solid understanding of safety protocols.

Competenze

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a maintenance mechanic role.
Industrial manufacturing experience is a major plus.
Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing motors and gearboxes.
Competence with power tools, presses and other industrial equipment.
Experience as a welder is a plus.
Certifications desirable, but not required.

Mansioni

Completes building, re-building, repair, overhaul, installation and/or removal of machinery and equipment.
Machines and fittings to close tolerances with speed and accuracy.
Cooperates with machine operators and skilled tradesmen in duties.
Reads blueprints/sketches and creates sketches for new parts.
Operates machine tools, welding equipment and plumbing tools.
Maintains housekeeping and observes safety rules.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
