Job summary

Celanese is hiring an Area Mechanic for Washington Works in Washington, WV. You will perform a range of mechanical tasks, read schematics, and support plant equipment maintenance in a safety-conscious environment.

You will use SAP-PM and work with a team to inspect, lay out, fabricate, and install components, while continually improving processes and maintaining equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries following all safety rules.
• Perform advanced mechanic tasks with appropriate qualifications and training.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings to plan work.
