Job summary

Cleveland Menu Company maintains a hands-on approach to keeping our printing and finishing equipment running. The Maintenance Mechanic performs PMs and repairs on cutters, laminators, glue pots, presses, and shrink wrappers. The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, plus basic tooling and die work.

Strong safety practices and 5+ years in industrial maintenance are essential. The position is on site, with first-shift hours and overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience (print, packaging, or manufacturing preferred).
• Proven ability to repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Basic tool and die making, plumbing, and pneumatic skills.
• Availability for first shift, with overtime flexibility.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and industrial safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and repair cutters, folders, laminators, glue pots, presses, and shrink wrappers; identify root causes of downtime.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot motors, starters, relays, sensors, and control circuits; handle basic building electrical tasks.
• Install, adjust, and repair cylinders, valves, regulators, tubing, and air lines; fix air leaks.
• Carry out general repairs (drywall, painting, doors, locks, ceiling tiles); fix leaks and perform basic HVAC upkeep.
• Read blueprints and manuals; complete work orders and PM logs; track spare parts and recommend purchases.
• Follow lockout/tagout, machine guarding, OSHA, and PPE rules; report hazards; handle chemicals per SDS.
