Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical work on machinery and equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, installing and aligning components, and maintaining systems to ensure reliable operation.

Responsibilities include dismantling, moving, and reassembling equipment, performing precision alignments, and observing strict safety procedures on long‑term maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, and drawings.
• Must be able to work at heights and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and manuals to determine procedures.
• Dismantles machines and moves equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks, and precision instruments.
• Constructs foundations for machines using hand tools and materials.
• Performs lubrication, maintenance, and cleaning of tools, machines, and equipment.
• Adheres to safety and project rules.
