Job summary

The technician will diagnose pneumatic/hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and use preventive maintenance systems while supporting rapid response to equipment calls.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Required to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 points with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without accommodation.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
