Job summary

Johns Manville Richmond facility is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Maintainer to keep high-volume production lines running safely and efficiently. You will perform hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical work, operate mobile equipment, and collaborate with a team to complete planned work orders.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read technical instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with plant equipment and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read written instructions and use measuring tools.
• Must provide professional tools

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform mechanical, millwright, carpentry, pipefitting, and painting tasks.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Input data into SAP at shift end and train new employees.
• Assist electricians and auto mechanics as needed.
