Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for its Eastford, CT facility. You will maintain and repair pallet-plant equipment, performing electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks to keep production flowing.

The role is on-site, 1st shift, with an hourly pay of $20. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience handling Production Automation Equipment.
• Experience with basic plumbing, basic electrical wiring, and basic carpentry.
• Low Voltage Electrical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment.
• Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Learn existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Assist with other projects as necessary.

Overview

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you'll get to combine the roles of an electrician, carpenter, plumber, and inventory manager all into one! We're looking for the handy and multi-interested employee to be able to manage and maintain multiple types of equipment within our wood pallet manufacturing plant. This role is vital to keeping our operation running at the highest efficiency!

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Eastford, CT 06242

What You'll Do

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary
• Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly
• Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant
• Other projects as necessary

What You'll Need

• 3 years of experience handling Production Automation Equipment
• Experience with basic plumbing, basic electrical wiring, and basic carpentry
• Low Voltage Electrical experience required
• Attention to detail to ensure all jobs and tasks are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
