MOHR Talent is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for Lake View, New York. This contract-to-hire role is on-site with a first shift and overtime available.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $34 per hour, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and keeping production moving. You will work with the maintenance team, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues, perform installations, and manage parts inventory to support plant

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on equipment repair experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical problems with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance work orders, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Technical certificate or equivalent mechanical experience.
• OSHA safety knowledge and safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical equipment.
• Disassemble machinery, inspect components, replace defective parts, and adjust operation.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, and work orders.
• Assist with equipment installation, startup, and shutdown.
• Maintain utility systems supplying heat, steam, electricity, gas, and compressed air.
• Manage replacement parts requests and spare-parts inventory.
