Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers in Woodland, CA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep equipment running safely and efficiently at our tomato production facility. The role emphasizes setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, and overhaul across all mechanical systems, with opportunities to work on pipe systems and blueprinted layouts.

This full-time on-site position pays $41 per hour, includes weekend overtime, and operates under a seniority-based CBA.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use power and hand tools.
• Certified to operate a lift truck or able to obtain certification.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, maintain, and overhaul equipment and pipe systems.
• Troubleshoot issues by observing mechanical systems and testing equipment to determine root cause and corrective action.
• Review materials and parts, submitting requisitions as necessary.
• Test and time machinery; read blueprints and diagrams.
• Position, align, and anchor machinery; weld as needed.
• Operate a forklift and perform lubrication, painting, and cleaning.
