Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in West Valley City, UT to support preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment. You will work with Process Technicians and Operators to diagnose issues and implement fixes, ensuring safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in a fast-paced industrial setting, experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and the ability to read prints and drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a fast-paced industrial maintenance role.
• Experience in extrusion or injection molding is a plus.
• Ability to read hydraulic/electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Collaborates with Process Technicians and Operators to understand failures.
• Designs, fabricates, and welds machine components or fixtures as needed.
• Records malfunctions and adjustments; conducts test runs to ensure safety and quality.
