Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Instructor (NCCER Certified)

Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Industrial Maintenance Mechanics Instructor to deliver engaging, industry-relevant training to students. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, hold NCCER certifications, and have experience in teaching or training environments.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, conducting training sessions, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. Formal certifications are valued, but hands-on trade experience and the ability to obtain NCCER instructor credentials are also highly regarded.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive Industrial Maintenance industry experience
  • Proven industry experience in Industrial Maintenance with a strong understanding of current practices and safety standards
  • NCCER Certification in Industrial Maintenance or related trade
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and assessments

Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.

This position may require performing other duties as assigned and assisting in emergency situations as needed.
