A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and minimize production downtime. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adhering to safety regulations in a climate-controlled facility. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and be capable of handling physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery.
The basic function of the Maintenance Technician II is to ensure routine maintenance procedures and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues promptly to minimize production downtime. The technician must complete all documentation accurately and adhere to good documentation practices, company policies, and safety regulations.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6:30 pm. Overtime is required as a condition of employment.
The employee will work indoors in a climate-controlled facility maintained between 36-38 degrees Fahrenheit. Conditions may include wet floors and equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and employees must remain safety-conscious and aware of their surroundings.
