Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industrial maintenance diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow maintenance procedures, plans, drawings, and safety requirements.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn from experienced maintenance staff.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and corrective mechanical maintenance according to procedures and job plans.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Use precision-measurement tools and proper installation methods for bearings, seals, and couplings.
• Perform basic alignment, torqueing, belt/chain adjustments, and condition checks.
• Assist experienced maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, repair, and installation tasks.
• Apply lockout/tagout, line-breaking, confined-space, fall-protection, rigging, and chemical-safety controls as required.
