Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMMS system literacy needed to complete daily work.
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electricity and utilities.
• Ability to diagnose industrial mechanical systems and problems.
• Shop equipment setup and operation.
• TIG or Stick welding experience required.
• Attend vendor training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Inspects parts to detect imperfections and changes in dimensions.
• Tests device performance after repairs or adjustments.
• Sets up drills, grinders and other tools to make/repair parts.
• Maintains clean work areas and follows GMP/SOP policies.
• Works as a team to meet product specifications safely.
• Assists other departments as needed.
