Job summary

Kymera International is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment, property and buildings within our manufacturing operations. You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and support the Maintenance Department with accurate records and scheduled tasks.

Qualifications include a GED/HS, 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and proficiency with hand tools, electrical distribution, and common office software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• 5 years maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to maintain and diagnose a broad range of plant equipment.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Electrical power distribution (480V/3-phase) experience required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
• Tow motor and hi-reach certification within 14 days of hire.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Pipe installation and overhead crane experience desired.
• Hydraulic/pneumatic/water distribution experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and perform routine maintenance on equipment, property and buildings.
• Identify and diagnose problems; perform repairs meeting safety and quality requirements.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and records; coordinate with management to minimize disruption.
• Store and maintain tools; requisition new tools as needed.
• Complete daily inspections and take corrective action as required.
