Job summary

Dolphin, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to keep production machines, systems, and equipment in optimal operating condition. Perform preventative maintenance and assist production operators with machine job setup. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.

This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) with Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:30pm shift. Dolphin, Inc. has a lean, modern facility and over 50 years of experience in precision investment casting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial machines.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints/schematics.
• Understanding of metal fabrication: sheet metal, machining, welding.
• Coordinate high activity under varying conditions.
• Must use small hand tools.
• Quality and timely work proficiency.
• Work with minimal supervision and maintain good coworker relations.
• Adhere to security regulations and protect company property.
• Proficient computer literacy incl. MS Office and internet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment.
• Develop, fabricate, install changes to machines to improve performance.
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Install electrical conduit, air and water piping for machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Assist in assembling, testing and maintaining equipment.
• Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance.

Dolphin, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Mechanic who is required to keep all production machines, systems and equipment throughout the Facility in optimal operating condition. Perform Preventative Maintenance and assist production operators as needed with machine job set-up. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment, including but not limited to, large gas fired equipment, Boilers, HVAC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical and Control systems.
• Develop, fabricate, install various changes to machines as needed to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies.
• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Install electrical conduit, air and chilled water piping for machinery and equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements.
• Provide assistance to assemble, test, and maintain company equipment.
• Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Ability to adapt to various maintenance situations and work in all major production areas in a maintenance capacity.
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow and ensure compliance with quality system.
• Full-time position requiring regular and consistent attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned by Management.

Other Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, And Expectations

• Desired Candidate would have the knowledge and ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial machines and have basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Read and understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic system prints and schematics.
• Understanding of metal fabrication processes: Sheet Metal, Machining, Welding
• Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
• Must have knowledge and the ability to use small hand tools.
• Quality: Must be proficient in quality of work.
• Quantity: Must complete work in a timely manner.
• Dependability: Must maintain minimal response time.
