How You’ll Contribute

Picture stepping to a press that’s trending out of control limits. You pull the latest control charts, interpret the data, and make targeted process or equipment adjustments that bring parts back into specification. Then you pivot to a scheduled PM, followed by a quick bench operation to restore a fixture—keeping the line moving and quality intact.

Core Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment; perform preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.
  • Set up a variety of production machines to produce quality products in die casting operations.
  • Maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulic systems for a range of equipment.
  • Perform machining and bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
  • Leverage statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend analysis to fine-tune processes and equipment for in-spec parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
What You’ll Need
  • Intermediate troubleshooting capability across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy for data review and documentation.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Fluent in English and in the primary language used in your area of responsibility and/or location.
Education & Experience

High School diploma or equivalent education and experience. 1.5 years of technical experience applying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

  • Lift/carry: frequently 5–25 lbs; occasionally 25–75 lbs; rarely more than 75 lbs.
  • Stand and/or walk for an entire work shift (8–12 hours).
  • Occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching during a full shift (8–12 hours).
  • Use power/vibrating tools throughout a full work shift (8–12 hours).
  • Operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8–12 hours).
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection for the full shift (8–12 hours).
