Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in heavy industrial operations or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds safety culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root cause using tools and knowledge.
• Use SAP maintenance module to execute duties and document actions.
• Demonstrates dependability in attendance and work completion.
• Determine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wires.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Monitor and inspect equipment for defects and remove defective parts safely.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information.
• Work safely to prevent injuries by following PPE rules.
• Lead maintenance projects and coordinate with peers/contractors.
• Lead start-up/shut-down activities per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and follow up on delays using QMOS.
