Job summary

Mercury Marine, headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain CNC machines, grinders, die cast equipment, heat treat ovens and paint lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systems and assist in tooling and dies to meet production needs.

A Journeyman card or 8+ years in manufacturing is required, with high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid state Journeyman card in Maintenance Mechanic or have 8+ years of documented manufacturing maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required with strong technical aptitude.
Experience with Mazak CNCs, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and properly use standard maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance on production equipment on the shop floor.
Troubleshoot CNC machinery, heat treat furnaces and other industrial equipment; rebuild and repair as needed.
Assist in moving machines/fixtures, read schematics and ensure safe operation.
Read, interpret and apply maintenance blueprints and drawings; use measuring devices accurately.
Train and supervise apprentices; contribute to a collaborative team environment.
