Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Antioch, CA

Position: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Compensation: Starts at $44.56/hour

Working Location: 801 Minaker Dr., Antioch, CA 94509

What You Will Do

• Perform periodic maintenance routines, including lubricating machines and equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with operations staff to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including labor hours and critical preventative maintenance findings.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and actively participate in safety programs.
• Assist in developing and implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Use problem-solving methods such as 5Y to reduce and eliminate failures.
• Work in various industrial environments, including hot, humid, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• At least two years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military setting.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.
• Proficiency in using computers for record-keeping and documentation.

What Will Put You Ahead

• An associate degree or two years of study in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology from a technical college.
• Five or more years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatics.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and perform precision measurements.
• Experience with fabricating, torch cutting, and arc welding.
