We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus after 180 days of employment ($1000 at 90 days and $1000 at 180 days).

Pay range: $27.30 - $39.00/hour. Opportunities for advancement are available based on training completion and skills demonstrated.

Position Summary:

This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and assets, ensuring safety and compliance with Tyson policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding, cutting, electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts like motor shafts, pumps, valves, and systems.
• Read and understand assignments.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Use electrical and pneumatic tools; read drawings and schematics of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for entire shift.
• Work in varying environments from cold to hot.
• Perform physical tasks like bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of recent work experience (can be cumulative).
• Minimum of 2 years in industrial maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Preferred: Vocational or college education in industrial maintenance.

Opportunities for growth are based on performance and willingness to learn. Applicants may be considered for general maintenance roles, with pay levels determined during interviews.

Note: Previously employed Tyson workers have a 90-day rehire waiting period and are limited to three employment periods. Rehired employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
