We offer a $2000 sign-on bonus for new hires, payable after 180 days of employment ($1000 at 90 days and $1000 at 180 days).

Pay range: $27.30 - $39.00 per hour, with opportunities for quick advancement based on training and skills.

Position Summary:

This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and assets, while ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with Tyson policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding, cutting, electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and replacing components such as motor shafts, couplings, pumps, and valves.
  • Read and understand assignments.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Utilize electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment.
  • Read drawings and schematics of hydraulic and electrical systems as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Work in varying environments from cold to hot and damp.
  • Perform physical activities including bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of recent work experience (can be cumulative from multiple employers).
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting documented in your work history.

Preferred: Vocational or College Education in Industrial Maintenance.

Applicants may be considered for general maintenance roles; pay level is determined during the interview based on skills and experience.

Previous Tyson employees have a rehire waiting period of 90 days and may be limited to 3 employment instances. Rehires are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
