Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM) - Typical work week is Monday - Friday; however, overtime/weekend work is required during extended production runs.
• 3rd Shift (11 PM to 7:30 AM) - Typical work week is Monday - Friday; however, overtime/weekend work is required during extended production runs.

SUMMARY

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and be able to promptly troubleshoot to perform emergency repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10-hour OSHA certification.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS utilization).
• Strong knowledge in electro-mechanical systems.
• NFPA 70E - Arc Flash Training.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial facility equipment drawings and mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
• Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
• Strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the job, including heavy work with periodic exposure to inclement weather, hot, and humid environments.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to work on-call (rotation), overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
