Job summary

INEOS Pigments in Ashtabula, OH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, service and repair manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 facility. This hourly role is M-F day shift with potential to rotate to 12-hour shifts; safety-critical responsibilities.

You will troubleshoot equipment, document reports, train other maintenance staff, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to safety rules. Competitive pay, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2.5 years of plant maintenance experience in a chemical environment preferred.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, tube bending, pipe fitting, flange make-up.
• Experience with pumps, seals/bearings and lubrication.
• OSHA 30 hr. general industry safety certificate preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 facility.
• Monitor, troubleshoot equipment, report deviations and hazards.
• Complete documentation and reports using company systems.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentoring for other maintenance staff.
• Identify continuous improvement ideas to enhance safety and reliability.
• Adhere to safety principles and Life Saving Rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
