We are looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to support our growing operations in Romeoville, IL. This role follows a 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule , providing flexibility while maintaining consistent hours.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose & Repair Equipment - Troubleshoot mechanical failures on food processing and packaging machinery , including mixers, blenders, ovens, baggers, wrappers, case erectors, sealers, and conveyors
• Perform Preventative Maintenance - Conduct scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Rebuild & Upgrade Machinery - Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools
• Optimize Production Performance - Make adjustments and repairs to maintain high-speed production efficiency
• Ensure Compliance & Safety - Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations

What You Bring to the Role

• Education & Experience - AAS degree, maintenance certification, or 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Industry Knowledge - At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing setting
• Technical Skills - Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, and conveyors
• Problem-Solving Abilities - Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Strong Work Ethic - Self-motivated, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills

• Blueprint & Schematic Reading - Ability to interpret technical diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Maintenance Software - Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other computerized maintenance management systems
• Electrical Troubleshooting - Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus
• Military Background - Veterans with maintenance experience are strongly encouraged to apply
