Soap Creek Resources seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our new automated food manufacturing plant in Prattville, AL. This on-site role offers a $41.50/hour base pay plus bonus and an overnight shift differential as part of a 24/7 operation.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment, learn modern systems, and work within a strong team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Multi-craft skills on electrical and mechanical domains.
• Able to troubleshoot independently and identify root causes.
• Willing to rotate shifts in a 24/7 plant, including nights.
• Good communicator who can coach others and promote safety.

Responsabilités

• Handle preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment (electrical and mechanical).
• Complete assigned PMs on time and to standard.
• Find root causes using structured problem solving (5 Whys).
• Coach operators on basic equipment care and machine setup.
• Help install, commission, and test new equipment on capital projects.
• Document work orders and completions in the plant ERP system.
• Participate in shift start meetings, short interval control, and asset care reviews.
• Contribute to line improvement projects.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and food safety rules.
• Keep work areas clean and organized under 5S.

Overview

A large multinational food company has a brand new, highly automated plant in central Alabama and is growing its maintenance team across several shifts. Technicians coming in now get to learn modern systems from the start at an operation that is well funded and built for the long haul. The company wants strong electrical and mechanical techs who own their work and like being part of a team.

What the Job Involves

• Handle preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment, both electrical and mechanical
• Complete assigned PMs on time and to standard
• Find root causes using structured problem solving such as 5 Whys
• Coach operators on basic equipment care and machine setup
• Help install, commission, and test new equipment on capital projects
• Document work orders and completions in the plant’s ERP system
• Take part in shift start meetings, short interval control, and weekly asset care reviews
• Contribute to line improvement projects
• Hold to safety, environmental, and food safety rules every shift
• Keep work areas clean and organized under 5S

What They Need
