Are you a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Express is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and ensure that our client has a smooth operation of their machinery and equipment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for quality work, we want to hear from you!

Compensation - $23.00 – $28.00 an hour (depending on level of experience and skills)

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM- 40-hour work week

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on productions machine; able to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; trouble shooting malfunctions.
• Able to locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices, etc.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routing preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Needs to have the initiative to troubleshoot and respond with minimal guidance.
• Assembly of small components
• Clean work area
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure consistent and quality work product in a timely manner across the entire department.
• Duties may require sitting, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, stepping over items, twisting, lifting, reaching, or bending, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions and stooping for periods of time. You will consistently be required to use your hands with fine manipulation and use various tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean background
• Must pass a drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of verifiable experience in mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
• Electrical experience is
• Knowledge of industrial sewing machines is a plus
• Knowledge of RF heat sealers is a plus
• Able to read tape measure.
• Occasionally, be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanically inclined with good manual capabilities and common sense.
• Must be able to follow verbal directions and written process instructions.
• Must have a history of longevity on a job
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
