We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.

Position Overview:

As our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks within the office and manufacturing areas.

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and services areas.
• Diagnose the machine and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.
• Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.
• Perform skilled operations such as removal of belts for industrial equipment; and other various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting, and aligning operations.
• Conduct maintenance on the buildings, facilities, and grounds.
• Assist in determining the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and the requirements for completion.
• Ensure preventive maintenance on climate control equipment, Forklifts, and WAVES.
• Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
• Perform routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and requirements.
• Other tasks as defined.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Computer experience with MS Office.
• Hazmat certification preferred.
• Basic electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding and knowledge to use basic hand tools and sockets.
• Valid Drivers license.

Physical Requirements:

• Crouching, bending, twisting, and squatting regularly.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
• Standing or walking the majority of the day.
