About the Company

The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing about 40% of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato growing, transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 500 year-round and over 3,000 seasonal colleagues, with annual sales of about $1 billion.

Job Description

We are in search of talented mechanics with a continuous improvement mindset for our operations in Los Banos, CA. Our facilities are some of the best in our industry, and we produce real products and real value. You will learn from acknowledged experts in the field.

Every Morning Star colleague is expected to steadily grow in knowledge and experience, but these roles are open to both apprentice and journeyman level candidates.

We are more interested in dedicated individuals with aptitude and a strong work ethic than particular experience. You will stand out if you also have some experience in the manufacturing arena, especially with the mechanical components of cookers, coolers, dicers, fillers, conveyors, etc.

Compensation: Starting wage expected to be between $33.00 and $40.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
