Job summary

About the Company

The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing about 40% of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato growing, transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 500 year-round and over 3,000 seasonal colleagues, with annual sales of about $1 billion.

What kind of experience is valuable

People who do well tend to have experience in fabrication, pipe fitting, welding, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Navy nukes and machinist mates are highly appreciated. And, of course, we tend to be more interested in dedicated individuals with aptitude and a strong work ethic.

You will also stand out if you also have some experience in the manufacturing arena, especially with the mechanical components of cookers, coolers, dicers, fillers, conveyors, etc.

Compensation

Starting wage expected to be between $33.00 and $40.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
