Our dynamic organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to utilize and expand your technical skills in a demanding and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to potential issues in a timely manner.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks to enhance the longevity and efficiency of our industrial machinery.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems and malfunctions, including failures in machines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Keeping accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and replacement activities.
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in using manual and electrical tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces.
• A valid certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a definite plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and willingness to always adhere to them.
