Job summary

Falcon Manufacturing LLC in Somerset, NJ seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain production and quality for our precision sheet metal fabrication facility. You will ensure operation of presses, lasers, and auxiliary equipment while coordinating with supervisors and purchasing.

We value a High School Diploma or Equivalent, at least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Technical understanding of equipment; ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment: presses, spot welders, lasers, NC turret presses, and production machines as per manuals and specs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair or replace broken components and disassemble machinery as needed.
• Test machinery to determine repairs; detect problems with basic diagnostics.
• Clean and lubricate equipment; inspect and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Falcon Manufacturing is a custom fabrication facility for sheet metal, tubing, and wire components.Falcon provides economical manufacturing to large volume clients through our highly trained staff, advanced manufacturing technology, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing.Falcon is looking to add Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to our Team.

Job Description

Maintain production and quality for precision sheet metal fabricator facility by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This requires working with others in the company including department supervisors and purchasing.

Requirements Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment: press brakes, spot welders, lasers, NC turret presses, and production machines following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as needed
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
• Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
• Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
• Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostic tests
• Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on building including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, walk and stand for long shifts (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in manufacturing floor environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

Job Type: Full time, 1st shift Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm Overtime as needed

Pay

: hourly from $25.00 to $30.00 DOE
