Job summary

Harco Fittings in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in our manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong technical background, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs per specs, logs, and collaboration to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications in HVAC, hydraulics, electrical, millwrighting are acceptable.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing low voltage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming, motor controls, and variable frequency drives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics systems effectively
• Install, modify, and upgrade industrial equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of repairs and services
• Collaborate with maintenance Supervisor and production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Ensure OSHA and company safety standards at all times
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to maintain production uptime

PositionSummary:

This position includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems within our manufacturing facility, with some small amounts of fabrication and welding. PhysicalRequirements:

• Abilitytoliftandcarryupto50lbs,climbladders,andworkinconfinedspaces
• Capabilitytostandforextendedperiodsandperformtasksinvariousenvironmentalconditions.

Pay & Shift:

• Starting hourly rate of $30.17/hour
• Monday-Friday day shift 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, with some occasional weekend work
