Job summary

Malarkey Roofing Products is actively seeking an Industrial Maintenance Lead - Nights to coordinate plant maintenance and ensure equipment reliability. You’ll plan, troubleshoot, and execute preventive and corrective work across mechanical and electrical systems, while maintaining records and fostering a safe, respectful work environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and five years in manufacturing maintenance; knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing maintenance (mechanical, electrical, millwright, welding).
• Experience with layout and fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with management and outside contractors about PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and priorities for mechanics/electricians.
• Assist electricians and engineers with routine tasks.
• Provide input on preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Develop and execute ideas to improve products and machinery methods.
• Execute preventive, breakdown and project work orders on plant machinery.
• Respond to repair and part requirements to maintain equipment integrity.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Communicate repairs to maintenance and production supervisory personnel.
• Work with shift supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and monitor team craftsmanship and safety compliance.
• Participate in root cause analysis to eliminate downtime.
