Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist at the Madison Plant to keep production lines running through mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic maintenance. The role involves setting up and breaking down line equipment, diagnosing problems, and completing daily logs in a high-demand processing environment.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience and be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. Safety screenings and U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 61 lbs.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime when required.
• Must be able to pass urinalysis screening and provide work authorization proof for U.S. employment.
• Willingness to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
• Experience with machinery setup, adjustment and breakdown and documenting daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Repair and maintain operating conditions of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic issues.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Work in various plant environments with temperatures ranging from -30 to +90 degrees.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to resolve mechanical failures.
