Job summary

Tyson Foods in Scranton, AR is seeking a Maintenance Generalist on the Project Crew (MG01 to MG08). The role involves welding, cutting, motor repairs, piping, and heavy equipment operation in an industrial setting.

You will read and follow Tyson policies, work varied shifts, travel to other facilities, and meet physical requirements. The position offers opportunities to develop fabrication and maintenance skills while supporting production.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industrial maintenance or millwright experience.
• Willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
• Willing to work weekends and extra hours as needed.
• Travel to other facilities will be required.
• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass urinalysis and post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

• Welding, cutting, and minor electrical repair.
• Remove/replace motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, and piping.
• Operate cranes and lifts and use power tools safely.
• Fabricate catwalks, handrails, and equipment supports.
• Rigging and setup of rendering equipment and conveyors.
• Read and follow Tyson policies, procedures and regulations.
• Perform basic electrical work and read electrical schematics.
• Work in hot/cold environments and in an industrial setting.
