Job summary

Capstone Precision Group in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Electrician to keep production machinery running at peak performance. You will perform electrical duties, install and repair machines, and support mechanical systems while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires knowledge of industrial electrical systems, ability to read schematics, and a strong safety mindset. The company offers a four-day workweek, robust benefits, HSA/FSA, 401(k) match, PTO, and tuition

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (24V, 120V, 208V, 277V, 480V).
• Maintenance and electrical experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• High school diploma or GED required; forklift cert preferred.
• NFPA 70E certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical duties including new machine install and wiring.
• Execute timely and efficient machine repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized shop areas, inventory, tools and supplies.
• Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems and related equipment.
• Uphold 5S principles to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Support mechanical system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Comply with safety and HESS policies.
• Assist with facility maintenance duties and related tasks.

Maintenance Technician / Electrician

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and performance of production machinery and related systems. Strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include general industrial electrician work, maintaining manufacturing machines, support equipment, electrical and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems including 24v, 120v, 208v, 277v & 480v.


• Maintenance and electrical experience


• General mechanical aptitude


• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, safety protocols, and technical manuals.


• Forklift certification (preferred)


• NFPA 70E certification (a plus)

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform electrical duties which can include new machine install and running conduit and wiring.


• Execute timely and efficient machine repairs


• Maintain clean and organized shop areas, inventory, tools, and supplies


• Able to work with tools, pneumatics, plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical systems


• Uphold 5S principles to ensure cleanliness and organization


• Support mechanical system maintenance and troubleshooting


• Comply with company safety and HESS policies


• Assist with facility maintenance duties, perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to:

• Stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 3 hours per 10-hour shift)


• Lift up to 25 pounds from floor to chest height


• Reach over and around equipment as needed


• Raise hands above shoulder height repeatedly


• Safely use ladders
