Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems at our aggregate quarry. You will perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and inspect motors, conveyors, crushers, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in heavy manufacturing/mining/aggregates.
• Knowledge of motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs and electrical distribution.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings and maintenance docs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment at the aggregate quarry.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize plant reliability and minimize downtime.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair motors, conveyors, crushers, control systems, and related production equipment.
• Install, test, and modify electrical components, wiring, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Support safe and efficient plant operations by following safety policies and regulations.
