Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems across our facilities in Welkom. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of electrical components in a dynamic industrial environment.

You will interpret complex schematics, work with PLCs and VFDs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while contributing to reliable equipment performance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Electrician with proven track record.
• Extensive experience with high- and low-voltage industrial systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment, control systems, and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, including motors, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before failures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and engineers to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
