Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our client's maintenance team in Welkom, South Africa. You will install, maintain, and repair high‑voltage electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure safety and code compliance in a demanding production environment.

This role offers ongoing training, tools and safety equipment, and opportunities for overtime in a stable industrial operation. A strong commitment to reliability and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified as an Industrial Electrician with trade certification.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, control panels and PLCs.
• Proficient with testing and diagnostic tools and electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical power, control, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment and machinery, including motors, generators, and transformers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently.
