Job summary

Western Milling is seeking an experienced maintenance technician focused on electrical and instrumentation at our plant in California. You will perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshoot motors, starters, panels, and control systems, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least three years in electrical or instrumentation maintenance, with preference for an electrical apprenticeship or electrician certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of three years of electrical or instrumentation maintenance and repair.
• Experience with pipe bending, wire pulling, and terminations.
• Technical experience with sensors and instrumentation.
• Electrical apprenticeship enrollment or electrician certification preferred.
• Arc-flash PPE training preferred.
• Troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance in all plant areas on scheduled or emergency basis.
• Repairs and installs electrical motors, starters, panels, and related components.
• Inspects equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions using instruments.
• Coordinates with production to plan maintenance work.
• Assists with new installations and projects as requested by supervisor.
• Works with contractors to install new equipment.
