Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our Corteva on-site facility in St. Joseph, IL.

The role involves operating and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems within the process plant, performing repairs and inspections, and ensuring strict safety compliance. You will work with leaders to uphold the electrical safety program, interpret NEC standards, and propose hardware or process improvements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Able to read equipment prints and maintain detailed records.
• Strong safety and environmental compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation systems in process facilities.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, inspections per guidelines.
• Support electrical safety program with leaders and teams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM and safety procedures.
• Recommend improvements to electrical programs and hardware.
• Handle various duties as assigned.
