Job summary
Sika in Sealy, TX seeks a Maintenance Electrical Technician to maintain and improve electrical, automation, and control systems in a highly automated PVC manufacturing facility. You will ensure safe operation of extrusion lines, material handling, and process controls, performing diagnostics on motors, drives, HMIs, and power distribution.
The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLC-controlled equipment, and a track record in industrial maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and automated production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, starters, relays, and electrical distribution equipment.
- Diagnose and correct electrical failures in production machinery and facility systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and technical documentation.
- Perform electrical testing using multimeters, megohmmeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic equipment.
