Job summary

Boeing in Everett, Washington is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing team. You will install and maintain electrical equipment, test building and plant systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a complex production environment.

The role emphasizes testing, troubleshooting motors, power systems, and controls, with responsibilities across electrical wiring, lighting, and cable installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrician or Apprentice.
• 1+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment.
• Experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment with weight limitations.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to complete fall protection training.

Responsibilities

• Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional testing of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room remodels).
• Determine if a system should be shut down or work must be performed with the power source on.
• Lock out, tag out, or try out equipment and related systems.
• Perform primary and secondary testing on electrical breakers during routine maintenance; replace, update and retrofit breakers.
• Perform routine tests on high‑voltage switches and relays, using hipot; replace switch or relay as needed.
• Troubleshoot electric motors using appropriate test equipment.
• Monitor current, voltage, amperage, frequency and wattage hours at sub‑stations using an online computing system.
