Install, inspect, test, dismantle, repair and maintain a large variety of equipment related to industrial production and building facilities as well as repair and maintain electrical and electronic equipment. Diagnose electrical and electronic equipment or installations by using prints, tracing and testing circuits for failure. Design control systems including the addition to and/or the deletion of existing control systems. Perform all work in accordance with electrical codes and sound electrical practices. Plan procedures, repairs and maintain various types of industrial and building equipment including heavy and special purpose machines, steam, water, air, and carpentry, cement and related operations involved in repairing and modifying buildings and maintaining grounds. Observe, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical devises in operation to determine the extent of repairs necessary; requisition or make parts, assemble, test and calibrate. Determine the extent of repairs necessary, estimate labor time required, requisition or make-up repair parts, assemble, test and adjust. Make periodic inspections of equipment and facilities to provide proper maintenance and recommend preventative measures to keep facilities in suitable condition for efficient operation. Ensure compliance to Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals.
