Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility. You will inspect, maintain and test mechanical equipment, diagnose issues from drawings, and perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to read drawings and perform basic math. Weekend shifts may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred.
• 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• General mathematics ability for job tasks.
• Must be able to work assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment and components.
• Identify parts that need replacement and perform preventive maintenance.
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately.
• Interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Respond to production requests when mechanical issues arise.
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems.
• Complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency within time and resource constraints.
