Job summary

Accelera is seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to support our maintenance operations on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will manage upkeep, diagnostics, and restoration of electrical infrastructure, ensuring automated systems, control panels, motors, and sensors run at peak condition to minimize downtime.

You will perform repairs across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical platforms, install and test wiring and control systems, and handle preventative maintenance to sustain production

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
• Ability to diagnose and fix production equipment, motors and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and proper maintenance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues with production machinery to keep operations running.

By ensuring that our automated systems, control panels, motors, and sensors remain in peak condition, you will help drive operational efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.

About the Role

We are currently looking for skilled Industrial Electricians to support our maintenance operations during the 2nd or 3rd shift. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our facility running smoothly by managing the upkeep, diagnostics, and restoration of our electrical infrastructure. By ensuring that our automated systems, control panels, motors, and sensors remain in peak condition, you will help drive operational efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.

• Hourly pay reaching up to $40.00, determined by your professional background
• An extra $0.75 per hour added for 2nd and 3rd shift work

Work Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

• Availability for extra hours as needed

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues with production machinery like slicers, dryers, and sawmill tools to keep the facility running at full capacity
• Perform repairs across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical platforms
• Execute the installation and testing of wiring, motors, and control systems to support reliable plant operations
• Manage conduit installation and general electrical setup tasks
• Utilize PLC systems to diagnose and rectify technical malfunctions
• Analyze technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for accurate repairs
• Configure and calibrate electrical components to ensure they function within optimal parameters
• Support the team by handling preventative maintenance and responding to urgent facility service calls
• Conduct regular equipment checks to prevent failures and maintain a consistent production flow

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrate the ability to manage your own workload and determine maintenance priorities
• Maintain comfort while performing tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Background in maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Extensive professional experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix production equipment, motors, and control systems
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and the proper use of maintenance tools
• Experience working with PLC diagnostics is considered a plus
