Job Description
Please note; this role is based in the greater Pittsburgh area!
Industrial Maintenance Electrician
- Operate, diagnose & repair equipment including (but not limited to): AC Motors, DC Motors, Electrical Wiring, Pumps, Valves, Gearboxes, Refrigeration Compressors, Cooling Towers, Evaporators, Air Compressors, Mobile Equipment, and Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment.
- Familiarize yourself with our LOTO procedures for specified equipment.
- Fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
- Maintain hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, rams, filtration, and drive motors.
- Safely remove/replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
- Lubricate all equipment as specified on routines and PMs.
- Understand pipe system components (flanged and threaded connections) and select proper sealants for various services (high/low temperature, water, oils, gas).
- Experience in rigging, burning, and welding.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, especially regarding LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry.
Hours: 5am-3pm
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of high and low voltage handling (12V - 575V)
- Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and layouts
- Safe work attitude
- 2+ years electrical experience preferred
