Majesty’s Animal Nutrition in Redmond, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician to keep our production line running smoothly. You will perform hands-on adjustments, preventive maintenance, and installations on packaging and facility equipment, diagnosing downtime causes and applying safe, corrective actions.

You’ll replace worn parts, operate tools, and collaborate with production teams to maintain equipment reliability while adhering to OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems.
  • Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow manuals, instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, handyman work, or equipment service is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner daily with the Lead Maintenance Technician on planned work and priority repairs.
  • Execute hands-on adjustments, installations, and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment.
  • Diagnose issues to uncover root causes of downtime and resolve problems quickly and safely.
  • Replace worn, damaged, or unsafe parts and components to restore optimal operation.
  • Operate hand and power tools correctly and safely at all times.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections to extend equipment life.
  • Support production teams with proper equipment care, cleaning, and basic upkeep.
  • Follow equipment manuals and established maintenance procedures precisely.

In the afternoon, you swap out a worn roller, log a preventive inspection, and coach a production teammate on equipment care.
